John Hines
John Hines
John is a strategy-focused insurance executive having more than 40 years of financial and general management experience. This would include the position of President, CEO, COO, and CFO of a regional P&C insurance company and CFO of a publicly held insurance group. Known for his strategic, tactical, financial, and operating leadership, John meets challenges and convert action plans into results.

Donald has board-level experience as CEO, Board Member, President, Vice President, and Director of several regional property-casualty insurance companies. He is well-known for consistently achieving above-average profit goals and ROE.

- Architected and built commercial workers’ compensation insurance company, a division of UPMC WorkPartners from ground up to $125M in revenue and $15M (2016) in profit in 7 years.
- Provided operational leadership, successfully navigating business from 125th ranked to 12th ranked Workmen’s Compensation insurer over 5 year time frame.
- Reputed as insurance industry expert and leader, with experience across all functional areas of insurance business; deep operations expertise accompanied by sales orientation to drive revenue.
- Created automated business processes for clients providing web enabled CRM processing to back-end legacy technology.
- Patrick earned a B.S. in Information Technology from the University of Pittsburgh and is a member of the American Institute of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU).
